PocketGIS has many functions for viewing and editing map geometry and attributes. A few examples of some of this functionality are given below.
The main map functions are accessed via the Map Tools Menu.
Identifying Features
The PocketGIS Identify tool allows you to see a description of a feature by tapping on it.
Measuring Distances
You can measure off distances on the map with the distance tool.
Modifying Geometry
The PocketGIS Geometry tool allows you to change existing map geometry.
Capturing Features
The Capture tool provides functionality for capturing new map geometry and can be used in conjunction with GPS and Laser Rangefinders.
Viewing and Modifying Attributes
Tapping on a feature using the Attributes tool will display a form allowing values to be viewed or changed.
